Kilt Rock Waterfall, Skye

Kilt Rock Waterfall

I'm currently on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Kilt Rock Waterfall on the east coast is one of the most impressive, plunging 50m down to the sea :-)

The fall will keep falling if the computer screen is tall enough.

Beautiful.

Wow- That is very like Spray Falls in the Upper Peninsula's Pictured Rocks. Very nice. What a great place to be!

is that a river that is supposed to end in the sea? Unbelievably amazing view.

I'm not trying to be ungraceful [but am going to succeed nonetheless] but that's not fair. The only thing I wanted to see in Scotland, but didn't, was a waterfall. Jealous.

(Stunning photo!!!)

I am delighted to see the lovely photo of Kilt Rock and its waterfall. I saw it over 50 years ago as a hitch-hiking English schoolboy. I am now writing a book on waterfalls. Is there any chance that I could use your photo to illustrate the section on coastal waterfalls?

Unfortunately it has been quite a few years since I was last in Skye. The beauty of the mountains, beaches and coastline is unbelievable spectacular
