There were dozens of Wood Brown butterflies at Snipedales on Saturday, but I couldn't get near one to take a photo. Then I spotted this Red Admiral waiting for me on the brambles :-)
Oh my these are incredible John! Well I was going to post butterfly and bird shots tomorrow. but, I think I just changed my mind!! These are awesome!! Happy day!!:-))))
I love butterflies- I managed to entice a few into my garden this year by creating some new flower beds and planting some lavendar. I have had so many over the summer and was chuffed to bits as I know our numbers have been steadily decreasing. I have to say that those are really nice pictures :)
