I spotted these snails hiding on the nettles at Snipedales Country Park.

ReplyDeleteI had no idea snails could climb like that! I wonder if it is harder to get down than climb up? (how do they turn around?)

ReplyDeleteThe nettles are almost 1m high. I hadn't really considered it remarkable they'd climbed up, I just took it for granted. I assume snails eat nettles?
