I went fossil hunting here yesterday. Didn't find much but had a fantastic day and had the opportunity to try out my new geology hammer :-)

wow, this is very similar to torrey pine cliffs here in san diego as well, i am always fascinated by the exposed colored layers of the earth. i love those colored rocks at the bottom of the first picture. the two pictures are really pretty.
