I really like these kinds of special places. My mother always had a picture of a natural arch in Virginia hanging in her bedroom, so it also brings back childhood memories.

Hi, I've just come back from climbing Thorp Cloud in Dovedale. The area is very beautiful, no matter what the weather is doing, although today was lovely, not a cloud in the sky. I didn't know about the cave until we spotted it from the carpark (after we had climbed down the hill) and thought I'd look it up when I arrived home. The area is well worth a visit.
