This picture reminds me of the North Yorkshire Dales - Swaledale in particular.

Beautiful! I love buttercups. As kids we used to hold one underneath our chin and if we saw the yellow reflection then it meant we like butter!

The meadow is close to the Willowford Roman bridge near the Roman Fort at Birdoswald. The River Irthing flows behind the trees at the far end of the meadow.

We had a great day out here :-)
