Mystery Photo - Caterpillar Eggs
I spotted this for the first time this morning... Can you identify what it is? :-)
Thanks to everyone who guessed and congratulations to Sparkle and Sheila who correctly identified caterpillar eggs. Also well done to everyone who mentioned eggs, close but not quite close enough! :-P

some kind of mold?
Ant's eggs?
Some kind of insect cocoon? ;)
Not a clue do I get a hint?
This sounds fun!
Uhmmm... lizard eggs? O.o
I would guess it to be some kind of eggs attached to stone.
It looks like eggs of some sort but honestly I've no idea.
It looks like an arrangement of candles.
How about beach balls?
It looks to me like a bug has laid some eggs. I hope they hatch into yummy caterpillars or tasty larvae!
fish eggs or frog eggs...not sure.
It looks like some sort of insect eggs on the underside of a leaf.
I think they're caterpillar eggs.
I thought I'd answered earlier but I think I may have forgotten to wait for the captcha, if there is one, something I seem to do quite often. :(
Sheila: sorry about that, you left a comment but I kept all the correct answers in the moderation queue so they didn't influence later guesses :-)
Thanks to everyone who tried to guess the mystery picture.
Congratulations to Sparkle and Sheila who correctly identified caterpillar eggs. :-)
Well done to everyone else who mentioned eggs.
They're on a tomato leaf. I'll keep an eye on them to see what they hatch into :-)
Great game. I wish I would have been on time for it, but I would have completely gotten it wrong. I would have guessed berries.
Ooooh. Are those littlle pearl-bracelet-looking things inside them baby caterpillars? I just ♥ caterpillars and blame it entirely on Eric Carle.
