I am hanging my head in shame... I live in the UK, have never visited the Cheddar Gorge, so I've not seen these exquisite caves. I'm grateful for the reminder of the beauty that's practically on my doorstep (globally speaking). :-)
The artificial lighting gives it the strange shade of yellow, it's actually more of a grey/brown.
It's called Cheddar Gorge because it's a deep river gorge with the town of Cheddar at the head. It's well worth a visit if you like caves, cheese or cider ;-)

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. People like you bring the world to life for those of us who live in other countries
