Bumble Bee

bumble bee on flower

When I visited Prinknash Abbey last week the grounds were alive with bees going about their business. Unfortunately I can't identify this one. Any ideas? :-)

He's so furry. Makes you almost want to reach out and pet him. I won't though. Great shot!

Lovely shot, though I don't know what type of Bee that is. I love to watch the bees in my garden, busily harvesting the pollen, as they get heavier and clumsier with each flower they visit.

They often have to rest before chugging off back to the hive.

Well, he certainly is a happy "busy" little guy. What a wonderful capture, I love it.

It makes me so happy to see and hear bees. I worry about them going extinct. I LOVE RASPBERRIES TOO MUCH!!

Gorgeous pic!

One of these stung me last week - it was my fault so I can not complain.

They have found a home in an old nest box and pushed the original owner (a robin ) out ..
