The U.K. is entering a new Ice Age, or so the media would have you believe. After a few inches of snow everyone's talking about The Big Freeze and the country has come to a standstill! :-)
Oh dear I have been freezing here the last couple of days when we go out and it's only down in the 50's. Brrrrrrrr....that really looks cold and miserable!!
But it did make for a great shot! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! Jackie:-)
I am reliably informed by a source at the University of Ulster that the bad weather is happening as a result of a 24 year cycle - so in 24 years time we should have some more snow!
I am in the Philippines right now , but I'm still living in the US, particularly in Connecticut ---where Ice Age is magnified----just recently , they had been hammered by blizzards twice now since winter officially came last Dec. 23. Lotsa lotsa snow there...and I'm glad I'm in the Philippines for now.

It certainly looks like an ice age in the picture, but I'm sure so much cold is still very far off.
Being a loon from the North East of Scotland, I found the wee downfall of snow we had in London rather tame.
And don't you just love the media, they are always good for a bit of hype and a laugh!
We've enjoyed our 40 cms of snow, so we're ready to move to Scotland, as is our dream.
Happy new year!!
Wow! So much snow...
