The Sky Tonight

crescent moon

The crescent moon seems clear tonight so I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. The moon didn't turn out too bad although I didn't have much luck with Jupiter :-(

That lunar picture is awesome mate. I just wonder how could you get such shot?

I've been looking at Jupiter, but my binoculars aren't powerful enough to spot her moons.

H: I think Jupiter must be further away at the moment. I can only just see three moons at 24x magnification. They're slightly below and to the right.

That moon photo is beautiful. I love how you captured the texture.

Well, I'm impressed- I still think they are both awesome- to just go out and take a picture like that.

Great picture. I haven't had much luck trying to capture the moon. I guess I need to get a better camera...

I haven't even seen Jupiter so your picture is much better than anything I have. The Moon picture is excellent. You really do get good pictures of the Moon.
