This morning I wandered around central London and was amazed how tame the squirrels are. They seemed quite happy to pose patiently for photos and were confident enough to climb all over me!
That is tame! Most squirrels around here run away if you get too close. Although a few local parks are overrun with squirrels and have been known to attack.
These are excellent pictures. It must have been fun to see them so friendly. This is how the city squirrels from my neighborhood where I grew up behaved. They were almost like pets at times, and a lot of people liked to feed them.
He's a little chunky guy and so cute. I've noticed that in the Gardens out here they are becoming much more tame and love having their photos taken. Little divas if you ask me :D

The red-eye makes the squirrels look like something out of a zombie movie. Very cool.

I like it when they are so tame, although I'm sure it's not really the best situation.
